Practice makes perfect. Especially when it comes to the practice of being alive, though perfection isn’t want we aim for, merely expansiveness. Saturation. To touch all things, experience, taste, love, laugh, and feel our way through the ethers-
across mountains, under seas, down highways, and through intertwining with the electricity of others.
We need each other. Imagine two sparks flying through space-time separately. What happens when they float around in solitude, fizzling? Eventually, they dissipate, disappear. What happens when you bring two sparks together? A flame. Whether romance or friendship or creative collaboration – soul mates exist everywhere. There is no limitation on the number you can experience, really, because they appear in so many forms. It’s about connection. And that’s what we’re here for, to practice this, until we mostly get it. It’s how we heal. By being vulnerable enough to show our truest selves to other people.
By being smart enough to give love even in them most challenging of situations.
If we close ourselves off to other human beings because of our insecurities, through things like:
– judging them to feel better about ourselves
– not being compassionate toward our differences
– letting our insecurities/inner children run the show we are perpetuating one of the greatest crimes against humanity, and that is the violence of the soul.
So what is the answer?
It’s simple, potentially obnoxious because you’ve heard it a million times, and possibly confusing. But I’m going to break it down for you real quick.
BE LOVE
That’s it. Be love that you didn’t receive. Be the love that they didn’t receive. Expand the love in and out of your body until it touches everything, filling in every hollow place in every bone in everybody across the globe.
Be love so large that it lights the room when you enter.
Be love so big that you are felt even in casual conversation.
Be love so tremendous that you are always protected because when you are love you are the Universe.
And frankly, anything else is much too small.
Just remember this. Today. Tomorrow if you can. Maybe starting each day with this choice. Using the superpowers of your conscious thought to create a forcefield around you, especially when dealing with those who challenge you.
You are bound in white light and love.
You project love.
You are love.
